Chérie is the Director and Principal of Jourdain + Co, and leads the practice to deliver successful employment relations, dispute resolution, human resources, and business transformation services to clients of all sizes and industries, that are simple, creative, and cost effective.

Before founding Jourdain + Co. Chérie held senior human resources management positions for Sitel, Spotless, Tenix (now Downers), and Connell Wagner (now Aurecon) working across multi sites in New Zealand, Australia, Philippines, and the Pacific Islands. Prior to that, she was the HR Manager at North Shore Council and consulted to Auckland Council, Nokia Siemens Networks, Auckland University of Technology, and Metso Minerals. Cherie was also the Change Portfolio Manager at the University of Auckland.

In addition to leading the management consulting practice, Chérie is the in-house Legal Counsel for a commercial and residential construction company. She is married with two children living on a lifestyle farm with horses and alpacas in North Auckland. In her spare time she enjoys photography, architectural and landscape design, and is writing a crime series. ​
